This is the third webinar in the series: Heart failure focus.
This webinar will be a case -based session considering more advanced management of patients with heart failure. The presenters will focus on how cardiac devices can be used to both treat and monitor patients with heart failure and the management of the patient with heart failure and frailty.
This webinar will be of particular interest to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in secondary care, primary care and frailty or care home services. It may also be of interest to nurses and allied health professionals with an interest in heart failure.
The aim of the webinar is to provide discussion around more complex case management of the patient with heart failure.
After this webinar, attendees should be able to:
- Outline the types of cardiac devices used and patient selection criteria
- Explain how devices may be useful in monitoring patient treatment
- Describe the evidence for heart failure in the frail population and how this might affect the treatment pathway
Delegates will be asked to undertake some pre-reading before attending this webinar.
