We are delighted to invite you part 2 of 2 in the UKCPA Surgery and Theatres Committee webinar series on vascular surgery This webinar will cover all aspects of vascular malformation including the different types of malformation. The presentation will consist of the management of these conditions with a focus on drug treatment such as the unlicensed use of sirolimus, thalidomide and bleomycin, and surgical interventions including sclerotherapy.  This is a specialist area with ongoing development and research in the field.

This event will be beneficial to pharmacist involved in delivering care to vascular patients or have specialist interest in vascular malformation in secondary/tertiary care centres.

The aim of this day is to develop attendees knowledge on specialist management of patients with vascular malformation including the use of drug treatments and surgical options.

After this webinar, attendees should be able to:

  • Share their knowledge on vascular malformation
  • Discuss the treatment pathways including drug treatment and surgical intervention
  • Identify vascular malformation
